Öykü Ece Uza is a fashion designer and AI creative director working at the intersection of craft, culture, and technology. Her practice began with a deep engagement in textile research, weaving techniques, and sustainable material systems, which shaped her early collections and exhibitions.

 

Her work has been showcased at Fashion Week Istanbul, Dubai Expo 2020 Sustainable Fashion Show, Contemporary Istanbul, and Earth Positivity in Fashion. She has been a finalist in prestigious design competitions and invited as a speaker to share her weaving-based sustainability approach. Designs she created have been worn by celebrities in magazines, music videos, and concerts, and her work has been featured in international publications including Dazed, L’Officiel, and GQ.

 

Parallel to her fashion practice, Öykü developed a strong focus on artificial intelligence as a creative tool. At FirstSight, she leads AI-driven design and storytelling projects, exploring how digital prototyping, character systems, and narrative environments can expand creative possibility without increasing material waste. This interdisciplinary approach earned her the Yoona AI Fashion Design Award at Berlin Fashion Week.

In mid-2024, she launched Delights as a focused extension of her research into rare textiles and cultural continuity. Across all projects, her work is grounded in material intelligence, respect for origin, and the belief that technology should refine craft rather than replace it.
